Benjamin Obdyke, a supplier of moisture management products, hired Chris Malik as its new market development manager in the Midwest. Malik will work to grow Benjamin Obdyke’s footprint in the region while supporting architect, builder, and dealer customers with product resources and education, according to the company.
“Over the years, Chris has worked in numerous roles, from driving trucks to managing sales. Not only does his experience help him connect with customers on a deeper level, but he’s proven an expert at building and maintaining strong relationships,’ Joe Holcombe, director of sales for Benjamin Obdyke, said. “As we look to expand our reach and grow our sales in the Midwest, Chris’ expertise as a consultative salesperson and his ability to recognize the needs of customers will serve the market well.”
Malik joins the company from MoistureShield, where he served in a similar role as Midwest territory manager. He has previous experience with The Home Depot, Gander Mountain, and Woodland Distributors.
“When I heard about Benjamin Obdyke’s products, I really saw them as a game-changer. As a self-professed technical nerd, I’m looking forward to continuing to learn and to see how our innovative product lines make a difference for our customers’ homes,” Malik said. “I’m excited to be part of such a dynamic, unique team.”
