Sustainable building materials company Accsys has welcomed Alan McIlvain Company and Hardwood Industries, Inc. as distributors of Accoya wood.
“The recent launch of our Accoya USA factory in Kingsport, Tenn., now gives our U.S. customers direct access to a local supply of Accoya,” Sergio Munhoz, sales director at Accsys in North America, said. “Partnering with well-established, highly respected distributors like Alan McIlvain Company and Hardwood Industries, Inc. allows us to expand Accoya’s availability across the country—a key step in meeting North America’s growing demand for durable, sustainable wood products.”
Following the recent opening of Accoya USA in Kingsport, Tenn.—the first U.S. based Accoya manufacturing site—the two new partnerships expand Accoya’s distribution footprint and downstream market development activity, according to the company.
Alan McIlvain has established itself as a top Northeastern distributor of hardwood and softwood lumber and custom moldings.
