ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing and other select exterior and interior building products, promoted Jason Mason to the role of vice president of renewable energy.
Mason started his career with ABC Supply in 2005 as the manager of the company’s Gardena, Calif., location. In 2012, he was named West region operations manager, a role he held until becoming manager of the Southern California district in 2016.
“James has a passion for renewable energy resources, which makes him a natural fit for this new role,” Mike Jost, chief operating officer of ABC Supply, said in a prepared statement. “Even while running his district, he was helping managers in other parts of California and across the country learn and drive sales in the renewable energy market. We know he’s excited to build relationships with current solar roofing installers and help ABC Supply customers use solar roofing to grow and scale their businesses.”
In the newly created role, Mason will be responsible for growing the sales of solar and solar-related products. In addition to the sale of solar products, he will also work across the company on a variety of sustainability-related initiatives to reduce the company’s footprint, according to ABC Supply.
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply operates over 900 locations across the United States and Canada.
