L&W Supply, a distributor of interior building materials and construction supplies, opened a new location in Athens, Ga.
Esteban Garcia will serve as the manager of the new location. Garcia joined L&W Supply in November 2021 as an outside sales representative through an acquisition at the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., branch. Previously, he worked as a warehouse handler and route sheet processor for Town & Country Industries, a division of ABC Supply in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
“We’re thrilled to be opening our first branch in Athens and providing even greater support to our Georgia contractors,” Georgia district manager Brian Murphy said. “Esteban is a fantastic fit to lead the team, and with his industry experience, we’re excited to see him build strong relationships with Athens area contractors and support their upcoming projects.”
In the branch manager role, Garcia will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, enhancing customer experiences, guiding associates, and executing branch growth.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, operates 260 branches in 42 states. The company distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building products.
