TW Perry was named the Southern Building Material Association's (SBMA) Outstanding Dealer of the Year on Feb. 2 at the association's Building Products Buying Show in High Point, N.C.. The award was accepted on behalf of the Gaithersburg, Md.-based company by vice president of materials management Michael Moore.
TW Perry CEO Michael Cassidy said the company's recipe for success can be boiled down to a few main points including running the company "like a family venture," great customer service, and bringing in the best and brightest minds in the industry.
At the same event, Diamond Hill Plywood in Darlington, S.C., was named the SBMA's Outstanding Supplier of the Year. The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Geary Sharber and John Ramsey.
During the nomination process, Diamond Hill was praised as a "loyal and dedicated supporter of SBMA" and as a company that has risen up to meet customers needs.
