Bradco Supply has acquired Insulation Systems, Inc., a North Carolina-based commercial roofing distributor.

Insulation Systems maintains three offices in the state in Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh. The three branches will continue to operate under the ISI name with former owner Dewey Haizlip remaining with the company to "ensure a smooth transition," Bradco said.

"Bradco is very excited about our acquisition of Insulation Systems, Inc., as we believe it will serve to strengthen our commercial roofing presence in North Carolina, while complementing Bradco's existing four branch locations in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington and Greensboro," said Martin Segal, vice president of acquisitions for Bradco.

"We are pleased to welcome Dewey Haizlip and all the employees of ISI into the Bradco family," Segal added. "Bradco and ISI remain committed to providing area contractors with a broad range of products and the best customer service in the industry."

Bradco operates more than 130 locations through 30 states. The Avenel, N.J.-based company ranked 7th on the most recent ProSales 100 listing with total 2008 sales of $1.7 billion.
