ProSales has confirmed that Foxworth-Galbraith is closing its truss and wall plant manufacturing facility in Prescott Valley, Ariz. The move follows the closing of facilities in Delta and Grand Junction, Colo., just days ago, including a truss plant and yard.
An employee at the Prescott location said yard will remain open but the manufacturing facility is being "mothballed" until business picks up. The move affects 19 employees who are being offered a severance package. Nearly two years ago, the facility employed more than 160 people.
Foxworth-Galbraith ranked eighth in the 2008 ProSales 100 with total 2007 sales of $540 million. Nearly a year ago, the company had 69 locations. Today it operates 46 locations.
