Guardian Building Products, the insulation manufacturer and building products distributor, named Steven D. Ziessler as its next president, replacing the retiring Duane Faulkner, the company announced.
Ziessler previously worked at Clearwater Paper, Cellu Tissue and Kimberly-Clark, working in such fields as international business, sales, marketing, strategic planning, and finance.
"Steve demonstrates a unique understanding of what Guardian is all about," Guardian chairman Peter Walters said in a statement. "His skill set, experience and demonstrated ability to develop and manage profitable businesses in a changing world are impressive and core to our culture."
Faulkner spent more than 30 years as president of Guardian Building Products, a wholly owned subsdiary of Guardian Industries Corp.
