The members of the second annual PROSALES/KOMA Four Under 40 Class of 2016 have been revealed.
The four are: Erin Plummer, VP of marketing and communications director for Hancock Lumber; Doug Carlson, vice president of sales and operations for Drexel Building Supply; John Perna, general manager for Hamilton Building Supply; and Cory Garrison, area vice president southwest region for SRS Distribution.
The ProSales/KOMA Four Under 40 Class of 2016 represents the best of the next generation of leaders in building material supply and highlights employees under the age of 40 in the LBM industry who demonstrate potential to lead the industry in years to come.
"Congratulations Doug, Erin, John and Cory, enthusiastic young professionals who have already demonstrated an inspiring commitment to our industry,” said Troy Sinks, National Sales Manager for KOMA Building Products. “We’re excited about watching how all of you, in your own way, will contribute innovative and effective new ideas that will continue to move the building industry forward for many decades to come.”
As part of the award, the winners will speak as part of a panel on next-generation leaders at this year’s ProSales 100 Conference in New Orleans on Feb. 24-26. That panel will be moderated by PROSALES assistant editor Curtis Sprung and cover the opportunities and possible problems that the LBM industry will face in years to come.
