You're reading the best news section of any small business magazine in the country. That's the verdict of the American Society of Business Publication Editors, which last month awarded ProSales a national gold and a national bronze prize in its annual Azbee awards for our Yard Notables sections of August/September and October 2010. It's the third time in four years that we won a national gold of any type in the prestigious competition and the fourth straight year we've been invited to the national stage.
Azbees also are handed out for the best entries that don't reach the national level. In our region, ProSales won gold last month for the computer-generated cover art (shown here) that director Brian Walker created to celebrate the Excellence Awards winners of 2010. Editor Craig Webb won regional gold for his organizational profile of US LBM, and former senior editor Andy Carlo received a regional silver for 2010's ProSales 100 report.
