"The Long Climb Out," ProSales' report on the 2009 ProSales 100, won the silver prize for Best Original Research in the Azbee awards sponsored by the American Society of Business Publication Editors. The Azbees are one of the most prestigious awards given in the business-to-business press field. This makes three national awards in a row for ProSales; the other two were golds.

In addition, ProSales received four regional Azbee awards. Columnist Rick Davis won gold for "Top Gun," a profile of the man we argued might be America's best sales rep. Art director Brian Walker received a silver for the design work on "The PS20," our list of the most significant people, products, events, and trends in LBM life over the past 20 years. Former senior editor Andy Carlo received a silver in original research for "This Gun's for Hire," our study of poaching for outside sales reps. And editor Craig Webb received a silver prize for "The Team Within," his profile of ProBuild's senior management.
