Each year, our ProSales Excellence Awards process allows us to take a high-level view of bright spots of accomplishment and salute standout companies for their operational excellence, customer-centric focus, and strategic impact. Our class of 2018 is a particularly deserving lineup, in true keeping with a best-of-breed tradition through the years.

Our Grand Award honorees—ranging from Ganahl Lumber's moonshot, $35 million investment in a 160,000-square foot, state-of-the-art SoCal mega facility centered on customers' experience; to TW Perry's brilliant play to marry its customer care programs to training and education; to Lansing Building Products' fanatical focus on team member safety; to PMC Building Materials' ability to activate marketing support for trusted suppliers in an online knowledge base—each company distinguishes itself as an example to learn from and emulate.

A trusted advisory group of five leaders considered and chose this year's winners: former ProSales editor Craig Webb, who's gone on to found his own advisory firm, Webb Analytics; Chris Rader, president, Rader Solutions, Lafayette, La.; Brian McCauley, director of sales training, Atrium Windows & Doors, Louisville, Ky.; Scott Morrison, president, Scott Morrison Consulting, Concord, N.H.; and Robb Wilson, president, Wilson Lumber, Huntsville, Ala., which won honors as ProSales's 2018 Dealer of the Year.
