E.C. Barton & Co. began existence as a grocery store in 1885 and has grown to into a building materials supplier with more than 120 stores in 15 states. The company has four divisions: Barton's, a building material retailer serving Arkansas and Missouri offering a panoply of products as well as estimating and consultation services; Grossman's Bargain Outlet, offering low price building materials; Builder Materials Company, which serves building materials dealers in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Missouri; and Supply Warehouse, offering building materials and flooring, cabinets, doors, bathroom fittings, and more.
