Door hardware manufacturers continue to introduce entry and interior locksets with improved features such as easier installation, contemporary shapes and popular finishes to coordinate with today's décor preferences, and historical styling that partners with modern operation. Here are some of the most recent offerings.

An ANSI Grade 2–rated 6-Way Steel Latch is now included on Kwikset's complete line of entryway, privacy, and passage knobs, levers, and handlesets. The latch, one-piece drive-in collar, and chassis are constructed of steel and come in several popular finishes. New to the Lafayette Collection in Baldwin's Estate Lock line, the Melbourne, New Orleans, and Roanoke handleset designs offer looks in French Country, Tudor, Colonial, and Spanish Colonial styles. The units include a birdcage-style handle that the maker says has the look and feel of hand-wrought open-work. 800.566.1986.

The Carlisle knob set and the Monterey leverset have been added to Weiser Lock's Elements Series. The oval Carlisle knob blends well with modern or traditional décors, while the Monterey's sleekly curving handle complements classic and contemporary décors. Both styles are available in five of the maker's Decorator Finishes. 800.677.5625.

The Milan lever, part of Yale's Grade 2 YH Collection, has a curved shape that complements modern décors, the maker says, as well as concealed screws. Available in nine finishes, the Milan features pre-installed screws, screw guides, and an interlocking sub-assembly design for quick installation. 800.542.7562.

Constructed with pick-resistant pins, a full 1-inch deadbolt throw, a Schlage C-keyway, and a steel door-frame reinforcer, Vintage Deadbolts from Nostalgic Warehouse feature antique detailing to match the maker's handlesets. Available in five finishes, the deadbolts are made to fit 1¾-inch and 2¼-inch door widths. 800.522.7336.

Decorative Stainless Steel and Max Steel latchsets and locksets from Omnia Hardware provide contemporary and traditional styles to coordinate with a variety of décors.
