The construction of a new lumber mill in Suwannee County, Fla., is expected to generate 350 permanent jobs and 700 temporary construction jobs while funneling $130 million in capital into the region over the course of three years, the Suwannee Democrat reported Jan. 25. The mill will be a project of Austria-based international wood-products manufacturer Klausner and will manufacture Southern pine.
