Based on what architects are hearing, you can expect more interest in homes with computer areas in the kitchen and with LED lighting in the bathroom and less desire for drinking water filtration systems and water-saving toilets. These are among the highlights from the American Institute of Architects’ latest Home Design Trends Survey. The poll, conducted in 2012’s final quarter, focused solely on kitchen and bath trends and generally concluded that homeowners are looking to reinvest in their homes, particularly in the K+B spaces. Details are at American Institute of Architects.
