Builders FirstSource (BFS) and ProBuild have nearly 170 facilities between them in the nine states where they both operate. BFS has said its plan to acquire ProBuild envisions that consolidating the two companies' networks will deliver roughly 20% of the $110 million in annual savings it predicts the takeover will produce. Given that expectation, when you're looking for duplicative facilities to merge, the ones in those nine states are target No. 1.
