Timberline Enterprises LLC, based in Gloucester, Mass., announced today that it has signed a deal to acquire Hughes Lumber Co.. of Billerica, Mass. Closing will take place on May 1, and Timberline expects to be operating out of its new lumber yard soon after.
Christopher Costello, the company's CEO, acquired Timberline's first location in the spring 2008. Currently, Timberline operates three full-service lumber yards on the north shore of Massachusetts.
