SRS Acquisition announced it opened a new location in Omaha, Neb., today under the Shake & Shingle Supply name. The facility is the first SRS location in Nebraska and will serve the Omaha, Lincoln, and Council Bluffs metropolitan areas, as well as eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

The operation will be led by branch manager Julian Gonzales and will carry a full line of residential and commercial roofing products.

"Expanding into the Omaha market has been high on our priority list since we started the company back in 2008," said CEO Ron Ross. "We are very familiar with this market and from there we fully expect to seed the Lincoln market for another stand-alone branch in the very near future."

This is the third expansion announcement the company has made over the past week. On Oct. 31 the McKinney, Texas-based roofing material supplier announced it signed a letter of intent to acquire Sierra Roofing Supply in Reno, Nev., and S&S Roofing Supply in Hoquaim, Wash. The next day, the company acquired Gateway Roofing Supply in O'Fallon, Ill.

SRS Acquisition is ranked No. 13 on the ProSales 100 listing with $343 million in professional sales in 2010. With the new location, the company now operates 63 locations in 25 states under various brand names.
