According to BMC, the move enables the dealer to expand into the southeastern United States.

VNS Corporation is headquartered in Vidalia, Ga., and operates 14 locations throughout the southeast under the brand names ProCon Construction Services, Wholesale Building Products, Bestline Sash and Door, and Choo-Choo Build It Mart.

This is the third big-business acquisition in the past two weeks. On April 13, Builders FirstSource announced it would acquire ProBuild for $1.63 billion. Four days later, US LBM acquired specialty dealer Rosen Materials, a company that had sales totaling $110 million in 2013.
