Beacon Roofing Supply, the nation’s second-biggest roofing specialist, has acquired Fox Brothers Co., Beacon announced today in a press release.

Fox distributes roofing, siding, doors, windows, and other products. It has been in business for more than 30 years and has four locations in Michigan: Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Howell. The company is headquartered in Lansing.

Beacon ranked third on the 2015 ProSales 100. It reported last November that its sales in its fiscal 2015, which ended last Sept. 30, totaled $2.52 billion, an increase of 8.2% over 2014's net sales.

“Joining the Beacon team presents a tremendous opportunity for the entire Fox family and our loyal customers and employees,” Tom Fox, president of Fox, said in the press release.

Beacon’s CEO and president, Paul Isabella, said he is looking forward to the acquisition. “We are very excited that Fox has joined the Beacon family…We are thrilled that the Fox family chose Beacon as the strategic partner that fit most with its values, would offer the greatest service to its customers and would provide the best career growth opportunities for its employees,” Isabella said in a press release.
