Beacon Roofing Supply has acquired Atlantic Building Products and Lyf-Tym Building Products, Beacon announced Friday morning.

Atlantic operates two locations in Warminster and Quakertown, Pa.

"Teaming up with Beacon presents the best opportunity for Atlantic to grow and introduce new product lines to our customers," said Atlantic's founder Gary Spillane. "We look forward to bringing Beacon's broader product offerings to our customer base."

"We are very excited that Atlantic has joined the Beacon family," said Beacon CEO and President Paul Isabella. Combining Atlantic with our existing Philadelphia area branches gives us a more powerful footprint in the busy suburban Philadelphia market, where there is strong demand for complementary products."

Lyf-Tym has locations in Hickory, Monroe, and Greensboro, N.C. and in Roanoke, Va. It distributes siding, windows, gutters, and related products. Co-owner Curt Corder will remain with the company. "Beacon's strong market presence in the Carolinas and Southern Virginia will enable us to better serve our customers with broader product offerings and even more efficient deliveries," Corder said.

"Over the last 50 years, Lyf-Tym has built a strong reputation as a high quality supplier of siding, windows, gutters and railings that will greatly complement our existing business in the Carolinas and Southern Virginia," Isabella said.
