Like many of you, the Ace Hardware store in Washington, N.C., likes to promote its pro customers by providing a place for them to show their business cards. But rather than limit the display to just one card per contractor or put up a cork board that easily can get messy, store manager Rich Robinson took an old display for paint chips that he normally would have thrown out, turned it sideways, and attached it to the wall. The result: A space that neatly shows off scores of different contractors' business cards—with enough room for each of the pros to leave a bunch of cards.
