The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited retailer Lowe's for three "serious" and two "repeat" safety violations at its Killeen, Texas, location. But dealers take note: Lowe's faults may also be prevalent at your yard. OSHA cited the store for "failing to illuminate exit signs, protect exposed lamps from possible breakage or contact and guard electrical receptacles with exposed current-carrying parts," all three classified as "serious" violations. The store was also cited for two "repeat" violations of "failing to mount fire extinguishers and guard or cover exposed live parks on fluorescent lamp holders." Read the full report
