The Mountain States Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association elected Dena Cordova, a Colorado Springs, Colo.-based regional sales director for Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber, as its new president. The other officers picked were: president-elect Dennis Gardner, ProBuild, Midvale, Utah; immediate past president Bryan Hutchison, Hutchison Lumber, Pine, Colo.; treasurer: Justin Hoese, Alpine Lumber Co., Frederick, Colo.; and secretary Paula Ervin, Randall Lumber & Hardware, Taos, N.M. ? Dow Building Solutions has named Bob Harden vice president of sales in Eastern North America and will lead the sales organization east of the Mississippi River. Harden formerly served as North East regional sales manager. The company has also appointed Pete Pendergast to the position of vice president of sales in Western North America and is responsible for sales west of the Mississippi River. Harden and Pendergast succeed John A. Somerville Jr., who served as vice president sales for Dow Building Solutions North America and retired after 35 years of service with the company.
