A former manager at Coastal Hardware and Building Supply, in Brunswick, Ga., allegedly tried to cover up stealing at least $530,000 worth of store inventory and building supplies between 2005 and 2011.

According to an article in The Brunswick News, a June 26 indictment charges George Louis Ferra Sr. with 23 counts of computer trespassing, 21 counts of theft by taking, and four counts of computer theft. The introduction of the indictment alleges that Ferra Sr. altered invoices, removed invoices, and issued fraudulent credit to himself. 

The article adds that Ferra was originally indicted on six counts of theft by taking and a single count of computer theft in November 2013, and that Ferra's son, George Louis Ferra Jr., was also charged in four of the theft by taking counts.
