Bradco Supply Corp. has acquired Premier Supply Co. of Denver, giving it a second location in Colorado. Unlike that other metro Denver site, Premier Supply will keep its name and management team, Bradco's Oct. 6 announcement said.

"We believe this was an excellent opportunity for Bradco, as Premier shares much the same philosophy of unparalleled customer service linked to the distribution of high quality building materials," said Martin Segal, vice resident of acquisitions for Avenel, N.J.-based Bradco. " We are very excited about this acquisition as it reinforces Bradco's commitment to the Denver marketplace, following on the heels of our recent opening at East 24th Drive in Aurora. Over the years, Bradco has remained focused on growth and building our business for the long-term, and we will continue to capitalize on our leading market positions and strong balance sheet to further consolidate the roofing supply industry."

Brado has more than 130 locations in 30 states and has made five acquisitions this year. This summer, the private equity firm Advent International bought a majority stake in Bradco, leaving the founding Segal family with minority control and management responsibility.

Bradco is a national distributor of roofing, siding, windows, doors, and other exterior building materials. It ranked seventh on this year'sProSales 100 based on 2008 sales of $1.7 billion.
