At the 2005 NLBMDA/ProSales Industry Summit, NLBMDA welcomed its 2005–2006 Board of Directors chair, Kevin Hancock. Hancock is CEO of Hancock Lumber in Casco, Maine. He has been an active member of NLBMDA and the LBM industry for many years, including serving as chairman of the Northeastern Retail Lumber Association in 2001 and serving on NLBMDA's executive committee since 2002. PROSALES recently named him as a 2005 Public Service Leader.
“Kevin is a great leader, for his business, the industry, and this organization,” says NLBMDA president Shawn Conrad. “NLBMDA is extremely fortunate to have individuals who care so deeply about this industry take a leadership role within NLBMDA. Kevin's,
and others', unselfish commitment to the dealers across this nation is what makes NLBMDA great.” Throughout his term, Hancock also will be sharing his insights on managing and growing a business in this industry through a bi-monthly column in PROSALES. His first column will appear in the November issue. Congratulations Kevin.
