Aside from continuing to manage their branches, the new managing partners will become members of ABC Supply's National Branch Advisory, which oversees a number of topics, including branch expansion, product development, technology, branch operations and company policy.
The new managing partners include: Steve Barnhart of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Brannon Clark of Augusta, Ga.; Jim Colligan of Buffalo, N.Y.; Shae Garrett of Albuquerque, N.M.; Greg Lanphear of El Cajon, Calif.; Laura McCoy of Lexington, Ky.; Peter Meyer of Springfield, Mass.; Bruce Neisse of Goleta, Calif.; Billy Parks of Tulsa, Okla.; Roger Propst of Nashville, Tenn.; Craig Rupert of Nederland, Tex.; Tony Schalliol of Durham, N.C.; Adriel Sheridan of Portland, Ore.; Jeremy Willetts of Conroe, Tex.; and John Yelden of Waterloo, Iowa.
To be selected for the position of managing partner, managers must meet a "stringent criteria" in the areas of customer satisfaction, associate development, improvement in branch performance, safety compliance, and excellence in overall business practices, the company said in a statement.
"These 15 branch managers have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and a solid commitment to their teams, customers and communities, and we're proud to recognize them for their all-around efforts," said David Luck, ABC Supply CEO and president.
There are currently 102 Managing Partners in the company, according to ABC Supply. They do not receive any type of ownership in the company.
ABC Supply ranked 3rd on the ProSales 100 with total sales of $2.88 billion in 2008. The Beloit, Wis.-based company operates more than 370 branches and other facilities in 45 states.
